UPDATE If you've seen my tumblr updates, then you know that I killed my laptop, for good this time. So until I get a new one, I'm borrowing my grandmother's, which means that ALL updates may slow down to a crawl. MAY. I don't know, and I don't want to get your hopes up, so if I do  end up updating, I will announce it on Twitter, so watch that. I probably won't be getting a new laptop anytime soon. I don't have a job, as you all know if you've been keeping up with these, so no steady income to buy one, or even make a deal with my parents/grandparents to pay them back after being bought one. Real Life Classes have started again, and so far they're interesting even if there is a tonne of reading to do... I'm doing some of my final courses this year, so we'll see whether I graduate this summer of next fall, I guess. The only issue I've run into so far is that I haven't gotten one of my textbooks yet, which is a pain, but otherwise, the only regret I have is that my first class is at 8:30 am. Real Life Update This week was meh. On Friday we went to the States, so... That was interesting, to see the differences between here and there; the things they have we don't, and the things we have they don't. Real Life Update I didn't really do anything this week honestly. I was home alone for the most part as the grandparents went to visit the Gr'Aunts so... I rejoined the Drarry Discord server, and so I've been having some very nice conversations with like-minded and helpful people. Can I just say that ants suck? I get them in my room every summer, but with it being as gross as it is here, I wasn't expecting them this year. However, it seems like as soon as it flicked over to August they were everywhere in my room. I've put out poison and am constantly wiping my desk down with tea tree oil, which helps a bit in keeping them out of my space, but they are  so  annoying. Real Life Update Sorry, this didn't come out yesterday, darlings. We went to see the cousins for Big Cousin's birthday. I spent most of the day in the pool, got an uncomfortable sunburn along my back though it's mostly my forehead and the back of my arms that are the issue. I also spent a lot of time playing with the Baby Cousins, and can I just say that it's an exhausting experience to wrangle a two-year-old and a nine-year-old in the pool. Went and saw Hobbs and Shaw today, it was really good! I haven't seen any of the other Fast and the Furious series, but that knowledge isn't really necessary for this film, so knock yourselves out if you like explosions and Idris Elba. It's just too depressing to watch while politics loses its collective ever-loving mind, and America turns into the domain of a reincarnation of Hitler. Real Life Update Not a lot really happened this week. We painted most of the garage in between rainy days, so that's pretty much done. Otherwise, nothing really happened this week. It was a bit of a hardship for some things, but I did get a fair bit out, as proven by the word count for this week. Camp NaNo Update I'm behind again, but I'm not too fussed. Part of it is I got wrapped up in playing games instead of writing, and part of it is I keep changing the timing for this one part, so... Upcoming Chapter 3 of Archangel's Heir  will be put up this week. It's the Wizengamot chapter, so stay tuned for that.

Real Life Update Not much happened this week honestly. My sunburn is a bit better. It's not totally healed because where I wasn't tanned before the sunburn is still significantly redder than everywhere else and it's still peeling, but it's definitely better than it was at the time of last week's update. The peeling is annoying, 'cause it gets everywhere and it's where clothing rubs so it's constantly coming off, but at least it's not so itchy now. Other than that... nothing really happened... Real Life Update This week was a bit hectic. We went to the big city on Thursday, to see my Uncle and help with his squirrel issue. Saturday, so yesterday, we went to the lake. It was great, except that I'm burnt like a tomato on my shoulders which makes lifting my arms an issue. Writing Update Days Filled: Su / Mo / Tu / We / Th / Fr /  Sa (4/7)  meh. My word count goal is only 10,000, so it's not a lot. I'm writing it both on paper and then transcribing it into the word doc, so it's a bit more work than normal, but because we've been busy, I wanted to be able to take it with me in a better way than using my phone. So far, I've got 1460  words, so it's not too bad. I am a bit behind from days where I either didn't really get any writing done, or I didn't get enough

Real Life With it being summer, I didn't really do anything this week...  Tuesday we went golfing, which while fun was a giant pain. My tendonitis/carpal tunnel did not like it. At all. To the point where I couldn't really do anything for like three days after. Real Life Update So I know there hasn't been an update in almost three months, but between finishing this year's courses and just not writing in general, I didn't necessarily have anything to update here. I've kinda decided that I'm just going to put out an update anyway? Even if it's only this part and an I-didn't-get-anything-done for the rest. So since the last update, here's what's been going on: I finished off all my courses for this year! I passed my defence, so that's my Creative writing minor pretty much finished.  I saw Endgame, and while it was good, I have to say I am so mad at some of the decisions, so if a bunch of Endgame Fix-it fics come out, you know why. Real Life Update Hoboy, the past few weeks have been crazy, hence there not being an update for the past two weeks. I'll put the writing bit in the next part so you can see it, but otherwise... Last week was crazy. I spent the whole week working on my thesis project, so there was no work done on anything else which was part of the reason there was no update. I got it done, thank the gods, but it was close. Went and saw Captain Marvel  yesterday. I won't spoil it, but ohmygod. SOOOOO GOOD!!! Goose and Carol and just... everything. *sighs* So so so so so good. It also gave me major anxiety for Endgame, so... On the opposite side of the spectrum, Friday I got a bit of horrible news. My best friend's dad has been sick for a while, and he went in for a transplant on Friday. He had a heart attack on the table. Real Life Update This week was alright I guess. I've had a cough for about two months now that just won't go away. It leaves and then comes back, and this last iteration of it has been extremely annoying. I'm thinking it has something to do with how cold and dry it's been here lately rather than something else. I started doing what I'm sure is a 1000 piece puzzle... that has no follow-along image. It came from one of those multi-puzzle boxes, but when I moved for college I didn't take the box, just the two unopened bags. So it's been extremely slow going thanks to that, and the stupid cat who--until I covered it with a pillowcase (which fits almost exactly over it)--pulled the damned thing apart and threw the pieces all over the room. Real Life Update: I had my first undergrad thesis meeting this week for my Creative Writing minor. At least 40 pages double spaced, a maximum of at least 100, though I can go over if necessary. First drafts due on the 1st of March. It's all a little nervewracking. We'll have to see how I do, I guess. Otherwise, I've got a bit of everything going on. Classes are okay, only a few annoying people, but otherwise fine. We're going to see Mary Poppins  tomorrow, so that should be interesting. I forgot to mention that we saw Aquaman  last week, that was really good. Orm was an interesting character, and Mera was a bit of a bint but not overly so and for understandable reasons. It was really good and the visuals were amazing. I am not kidding! I figured that I would start doing a weekly update here, not only to fill up my blog but to give you all some idea what's been going on both in real life and in my writing. So here we go: Real Life Update: Friday was my first day back at university. I started Medieval Drama, which is mostly biblical plays. History of Literary criticism is something I'm not that interested in, but it's necessary for my degree so there I am. I got my class books, and holy shit, it was like 40 lbs.  We had a late Christmas today, as relatives came up for a visit. It was good, there was a Secret Santa game.
