 Happy holidays, lovelies. Y'all haven't seen me here in months,  and I apologize, but as many of you have probably also experienced, 2020 kicked my ass . I started the year alright, but everything spun out of control around the time that we went into Lockdown in April.  I honestly didn't get a whole lot of writing done after that; partly because I got a job over the summer, spending from the middle of May to the end of August working like 18 hour days, so not a whole lot of writing since I only had my phone until I got a new laptop in August.  January saw me getting into a new fandom, falling into a rabbit hole of the 9-1-1 universe. On top of the JKR scandals of the year, that has kinda drained my want to write HP. Before you worry, I do plan to finish all of my y fics; it might just take a while.  Important Yule Notes ... Process So I'm trying something new this year. For those of you who are familiar with how I was writing last year--every day having a specific set of works for the day--then you're about to see me do a 180. This year, I'm planning to work on one (1) work or set per month. The tentative schedule is a bit all over the place, so check just below for the current idea. This doesn't mean that I won't be posting other things--shorts mainly--but I'm hoping to focus only  on the scheduled work(s) for the month. UPDATE If you've seen my tumblr updates, then you know that I killed my laptop, for good this time. So until I get a new one, I'm borrowing my grandmother's, which means that ALL updates may slow down to a crawl. MAY. I don't know, and I don't want to get your hopes up, so if I do  end up updating, I will announce it on Twitter, so watch that. I probably won't be getting a new laptop anytime soon. I don't have a job, as you all know if you've been keeping up with these, so no steady income to buy one, or even make a deal with my parents/grandparents to pay them back after being bought one. Real Life Classes have started again, and so far they're interesting even if there is a tonne of reading to do... I'm doing some of my final courses this year, so we'll see whether I graduate this summer of next fall, I guess. The only issue I've run into so far is that I haven't gotten one of my textbooks yet, which is a pain, but otherwise, the only regret I have is that my first class is at 8:30 am. Real Life Update Nothing really happened this week? I mean, I didn't really go anywhere, and I didn't really do anything, so... I'm having issues with the alarm app I'm using on my phone. Real Life Update This week was meh. On Friday we went to the States, so... That was interesting, to see the differences between here and there; the things they have we don't, and the things we have they don't. That was all that really happened this week that was interesting... I've given myself a freebie for the new works I started. Neither is anything I've written before, so... One: it's a reincarnation Merlin -crossover of HP, with Harry/Neville/Harem. Real Life Update I didn't really do anything this week honestly. I was home alone for the most part as the grandparents went to visit the Gr'Aunts so... I rejoined the Drarry Discord server, and so I've been having some very nice conversations with like-minded and helpful people. Can I just say that ants suck? I get them in my room every summer, but with it being as gross as it is here, I wasn't expecting them this year. However, it seems like as soon as it flicked over to August they were everywhere in my room. I've put out poison and am constantly wiping my desk down with tea tree oil, which helps a bit in keeping them out of my space, but they are  so  annoying. Real Life Update Sorry, this didn't come out yesterday, darlings. We went to see the cousins for Big Cousin's birthday. I spent most of the day in the pool, got an uncomfortable sunburn along my back though it's mostly my forehead and the back of my arms that are the issue. I also spent a lot of time playing with the Baby Cousins, and can I just say that it's an exhausting experience to wrangle a two-year-old and a nine-year-old in the pool. Went and saw Hobbs and Shaw today, it was really good! I haven't seen any of the other Fast and the Furious series, but that knowledge isn't really necessary for this film, so knock yourselves out if you like explosions and Idris Elba. I've been sleeping too much, which is definitely an issue that will have to be sorted out before classes start again, otherwise I'm up the creek. I've been avoiding the news as much as possible. It's just too depressing to watch while politics loses its collective ever-loving mind, and America turns into the domain of a reincarnation of Hitler. Real Life Update Not a lot really happened this week. We painted most of the garage in between rainy days, so that's pretty much done. Otherwise, nothing really happened this week. It was a bit of a hardship for some things, but I did get a fair bit out, as proven by the word count for this week. Camp NaNo Update I'm behind again, but I'm not too fussed. Part of it is I got wrapped up in playing games instead of writing, and part of it is I keep changing the timing for this one part, so... Upcoming Chapter 3 of Archangel's Heir  will be put up this week. It's the Wizengamot chapter, so stay tuned for that.

Real Life Update Not much happened this week honestly. My sunburn is a bit better. It's not totally healed because where I wasn't tanned before the sunburn is still significantly redder than everywhere else and it's still peeling, but it's definitely better than it was at the time of last week's update. The peeling is annoying, 'cause it gets everywhere and it's where clothing rubs so it's constantly coming off, but at least it's not so itchy now. Other than that... nothing really happened...
