Writing Update for August 10th

Real Life Update
I didn't really do anything this week honestly. I was home alone for the most part as the grandparents went to visit the Gr'Aunts so...

I rejoined the Drarry Discord server, and so I've been having some very nice conversations with like-minded and helpful people.

Can I just say that ants suck? I get them in my room every summer, but with it being as gross as it is here, I wasn't expecting them this year. However, it seems like as soon as it flicked over to August they were everywhere in my room. I've put out poison and am constantly wiping my desk down with tea tree oil, which helps a bit in keeping them out of my space, but they are so annoying.

Writing Update
Days Filled: Su / Mo / Tu / We / Th / Fr / Sa (6/7)
Word Count: 3586

Yesterday was a meh day. I got majorly distracted by fic recs from the server that sent me spiralling into my bookmarks for other things and then I had an idea for a Lost Boys—the 80s movie with Kiefer Sutherland et al.—fic which I may or may not write.

There was a conversation on the server about how many WIPs we have, and honestly, I'm not even really sure how many I have, that'll be part of this week's general project.

Upcoming
Nothing is going to come out this week. Sorry darlings. Part of the reason is I finally figured out how I'm going to ... schedule? things. Tables are any creator's best friend. Next week I'm hoping to get things going again, but we'll have to see how my tabling turns out.

Other Notes
I'm going to start adding other notes as well because I have several other things to talk about often that I leave out because I either forget or don't think they'd fit into other spaces.

When classes start again in three weeks, I'm thinking of taking prompts for monotony breaks, so hit me up on tumblr—my writing tumblr, preferably so I know where to find them—with ideas. I will be making posts about it where I can (here or tumblr for sure), so look for those for parameters.
